Spain is one of the main producers of pork meat in Europe with many slaughterhouses. CTH has a long tradition with various products in the meat industry in this country. At the beginning of the year 2003 a new subsidiary was opened at the very new and modern slaughterhouse of Primayor in Burgos. With this new acquisition CTH will be able to guarantee the supply of a sufficient amount of hog casings and animal by-products. In the mean time, this well operating subsidiary has become responsible for the supply of a considerable part of the raw material of CTH.
